Glucose and Blood Tests…
In the morning Amy has to go for a Level II Glucose test. This consists of fasting tonight, then showing up at the lab at the hospital at 7 tomorrow morning. Once there, Amy will drink this sugar solution then we just sit there and wait, and wait, and wait. Oh, yeah, there’s more!!! They also take a blood sample each hour on the hour for three hours!!! Poor girl!!! 
It’s all to test for gestational diabetes….I don’t even want to get into that yet.
At this point I figure I will start with the basics. I’ll bring the PowerBook and we’ll watch a movie in the waiting room. (expecting parents to be snobs we are…), then we’ll go out for a BIG BREAKFAST!!! Then maybe we’ll hit the Home Depot and finally pick out the baby’s room paint!!! That is pretty much the last thing before the makover begins!
